A quirky reflection idea for a Friday afternoon. Bonus deep philosophy with the bass.

Updated: Sep 28

Remember those ancient times when we used to share music videos on social media?

Well, here we are, and if you're still with me, let's dive into a fun reflection as the week comes to an end.

If this week were a playlist, what would the songs be?

What’s your theme song for the week, and which tracks (moments) would you skip or replay next week?

My theme song right now is this curious little piece—it’s got a great momentum, a vibe of optimism, and just the right amount of impatience, like when you’re waiting for the melody to finally drop!

What’s yours? Want to jump in and share your playlist or theme song for the week?

The bass line

This idea came to me as I was reflecting on one of my favorite philosophical pieces by Alan Watts. He talks about finding the meaning of life not through constantly chasing distant goals but in how we experience the here and now. It’s like music—there’s no final destination; the beauty is in the melody, the rhythm, the moment itself. This philosophy drives me, both in my personal life and in my work as a counseling psychologist with clients.

Here’s an invitation: as we roll into the weekend, let’s think of life like a playlist—enjoying each track for what it is, not just where it’s taking us!

Let me know how it goes - I mean how it dances.
